Terms of Service

PropBrief
Effective date: September 1, 2026
Last updated: September 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of www.joinpropbrief.com, propbrief.polsia.app, and related pages, forms, and accounts (the “Service”).

By using the Service, joining the school-match waitlist, creating an account, emailing us about a featured listing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Questions: propbrief@polsia.app

1. What PropBrief is

PropBrief publishes city guides (currently Phoenix and Las Vegas) with local context and school-published discovery / intro price references. Prospective students may join a school-match waitlist. PropBrief may make manual introductions to flight schools. Flight schools may purchase a short featured listing (invoice only).

PropBrief is not a flight school. We do not provide flight instruction, aircraft, insurance, medicals, checkrides, or dual given. We do not issue, guarantee, or endorse FAA certificates, ratings, or logbook entries. We are not an air carrier and not the instructor of record.

Any lesson, discovery flight, rental, enrollment, or training relationship is between you and the flight school or instructor — not with PropBrief.

2. Operator

The Service is operated by PropBrief.

Contact: propbrief@polsia.app

3. Early test; no SLA

The Service is an early, city-focused test. Features may change, break, launch late, or be removed without notice. Marketing copy may describe current and planned product direction. Some features may be incomplete or unavailable.

We do not offer an uptime, support, or response-time SLA. Emails are typically answered within about one business day, but that is a goal, not a promise.

We do not promise a number of waitlist introductions, school responses, or featured-listing leads.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, including the school-match waitlist. By using it, you represent that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

You are responsible for complying with FAA, TSA (including any Flight Training Security Program / Alien Flight Student Program rules that apply to you), CBP, and other laws that apply to flight training. PropBrief does not determine your eligibility to train or to instruct.

5. City guides and price references

City guides may list flight schools, airports, contact details, and school-published public prices with a date and source. Those figures are research references so you can ask better questions. They are:

  • Not a PropBrief quote
  • Not a guarantee of availability or current price
  • Not an offer by PropBrief to sell a discovery flight or training program

Always confirm price, duration, aircraft, age limits, and availability directly with the school before you go.

PropBrief does not verify that every school is the right fit for you.

6. School-match waitlist

If you join the waitlist, you understand that:

  • Submitting the form records your interest; it does not book an aircraft, reserve a discovery flight, enroll you in a school, or guarantee a match
  • PropBrief follows up when there is a relevant next step for your metro and goals
  • Introductions are manual and typically limited to a small set of schools (often one to three)
  • Sharing with schools happens only if you check the consent box (or later confirm by email)
  • Schools may or may not respond
  • Any flight, lesson, payment, or enrollment is between you and the school

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. A phone number you include is for PropBrief and the relevant school(s) to reach you about that request, not for PropBrief marketing texts.

7. Featured listings for schools

Flight schools may buy a featured listing for a named metro (Phoenix or Las Vegas) for a stated period (currently $299 per metro for 30 days, or both metros for a stated combined price when offered). Payment is invoice only, paid off-site (check, bank, or card handled outside the public checkout). There is no auto-renewal unless we agree in writing.

A featured listing may include school name, airport, public intro price (or “call for price”), logo, and a short blurb the school supplies, plus waitlist introductions for that metro emailed to an address the school names.

A featured listing does not include:

  • student card payments or deposits collected by PropBrief
  • a marketplace aircraft calendar
  • paid advertising by PropBrief as part of the listing fee
  • exclusivity unless the school buys both metros (or we agree in writing)
  • a promised number of leads

PropBrief may decide not to continue featured listings after the test window. Listing content must be accurate and lawful. We may refuse or remove a listing that appears misleading or harmful.

Email propbrief@polsia.app to request a featured listing. A featured listing is a business transaction with the school; these Terms apply to use of the Service, and any invoice or written order confirmation may add commercial details.

8. No student payments through PropBrief

The public site does not take student payments or run student checkout. PropBrief does not collect discovery-flight deposits, tuition, or aircraft rental from students on the Service.

If a student and a school agree on a price, they settle it themselves. PropBrief is not a party to that transaction and is not a payment processor for it.

If we later add student payments (for example Stripe), updated Terms will apply before anyone is charged on the site.

9. Accounts

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, use an email address you control, and tell us promptly at propbrief@polsia.app if you think your account was misused.

We may refuse, suspend, or close an account if we believe these Terms were violated, if information looks false, or if we discontinue a test feature.

10. Product positioning is not a promise

Language on the Service about flight training pathways, hour totals, airline careers, school comparisons, or “getting matched” is product and marketing context. It is not a warranty, not a training contract, and not a guarantee that you will earn any certificate, log any hour total, enroll at any school, or reach any career milestone.

PropBrief does not guarantee:

  • FAA certificates, ratings, or knowledge-test / checkride results
  • Aircraft availability, airworthiness, or a particular make and model
  • Insurance coverage for anyone
  • Dual given, solo time, or any logbook entry
  • That a listed school is open, insured, or accepting students on any given day
  • Any number of waitlist introductions or school replies

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false waitlist or school-inquiry information
  • Scrape, spam, or overload the Service
  • Attempt to access other people’s accounts or non-public systems
  • Post unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually exploitative content
  • Suggest that PropBrief is a flight school, an air carrier, or the instructor of record
  • Use the Service to collect personal information about others without authority

We may remove content or close access that violates this section.

12. Your content; our content

You keep ownership of content you submit (waitlist answers, messages, school blurbs you supply). You grant PropBrief a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the Service — including emailing waitlist introductions to schools and publishing featured-listing content you approve.

You represent that you have the right to submit that content and that it does not infringe someone else’s rights.

The PropBrief name, site design, and original copy are owned by PropBrief. You may not copy them for a competing service.

13. Third-party services

The Service is built and hosted with third parties, including Polsia, Render, Neon, and Google (Workspace / email). Those providers have their own terms. Outages or acts of those providers are outside our reasonable control.

Links to flight schools, FBOs, weather, or other sites are for convenience. We do not control them.

14. Disclaimers (as-is)

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROPBRIEF DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that city-guide prices or school details are accurate or current, that any school will respond, that a discovery flight will occur, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Aviation involves inherent risk. PropBrief does not assume that risk. Instruction, aircraft operations, and go/no-go decisions are solely between the people in the aircraft and the applicable operator or school — not PropBrief.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROPBRIEF WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, HOURS, RATINGS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR TRAINING PROGRESS, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PROPBRIEF IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, the limit applies to the fullest extent allowed. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our own gross negligence, to the extent that bar applies).

Because we do not provide flight instruction or aircraft, we are not liable for flight operations, training outcomes, or accidents.

16. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PropBrief from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising out of:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your waitlist submissions, messages, or school inquiries
  • Your flight instruction, training, or aircraft operations
  • Content you supply for a featured listing
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your violation of FAA, TSA, or other law
  • Disputes between a student and a school or instructor

17. Termination

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your waitlist submission or account by emailing propbrief@polsia.app.

We may suspend or end access at any time, including if a test ends. Sections that should survive (including 10, 12, 14–16, 18, and 19) survive termination.

18. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

You and PropBrief agree that courts located in California have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

19. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and PropBrief about the Service (except that a school’s invoice or written order confirmation may add commercial terms for a featured listing). If a court finds a provision unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the “Last updated” date means you accept the new Terms. Material changes will also be noted by email when practical.

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service.

No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment is created by these Terms. Flight schools that buy a featured listing are customers, not employees or partners of PropBrief.
